About
Yvonne and Boo’s collaboration is an album of songs written in response to a noticeboard in Culzean Castle’s secondhand bookshop.
Notes, photographs, receipts, letters, postcards and fragments of people’s lives were collected and kept on the board on the wall among the bookshelves, lovingly curated by the shop’s volunteers.
Forming an inimitable songwriting partnership, Yvonne and Boo weaved these ephemeral stories with their own, creating an album full of nostalgia and beauty.
The duo have toured the UK extensively, delighting audiences with endearing charm.
As songs rich in hope and longing echo in theatres, arts venues, festivals, bookshops and libraries, each show promises something unexpected. Much like the oddments salvaged from old books, their unique synergy leaves an indelible mark.
